Do You Know the Difference Between Wisdom and Knowledge

An eight-stanza haiku may help you.

If knowledge is king
Then why are we so foolish
Mistakes should teach us.

As we fail we learn
Knowledge should teach us wisdom
That’s not always true.

We take what we know
And we put it to good use
That’s what wisdom is.

Wisdom proves knowledge
Not the other way around
Wisdom is better.

Some folks are not wise
They are so irrational
Wisdom would help them.

The Bible says that
The beginning of wisdom
Is the fear of God.

Fear is reverence
It is a holy respect
Wisdom at its best.

Many have knowledge
But they do not have wisdom
I want to be wise.
